Digital Innovation. Climate Impact.  ·  9–20 November 2026 | Antalya, Türkiye

About COP31

The 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) will bring together world leaders, governments, businesses, international organisations, academia and civil society in Antalya, Türkiye, to advance global efforts to address climate change.

With a strong focus on implementation, COP31 provides an important opportunity to accelerate progress on the Paris Agreement, strengthen climate resilience, advance the clean energy transition and mobilise international cooperation and investment.

As the world seeks to translate climate commitments into measurable results, innovation, technology and cross-sector collaboration have an increasingly important role to play.

GeSI at COP31

The Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) is an international industry association dedicated to advancing sustainability through digital technologies and cross-sector collaboration.

At COP31, GeSI will convene an extensive programme of high-level dialogues, thematic discussions and collaborative initiatives across multiple venues throughout the two-week conference.

Bringing together global technology leaders, policymakers, international organisations, academic institutions and sustainability experts, GeSI will explore how digital innovation and artificial intelligence can contribute to accelerating climate action while addressing the environmental and social impacts of digital transformation.

Where the green and digital transitions meet

Our programme will focus on some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities at the intersection of the green and digital transitions, including:

Sustainable AI & digital infrastructure Clean energy & electrification Climate adaptation & resilience Responsible supply chains Circular economy Smart cities Nature-based solutions Education & digital inclusion

From Innovation to Implementation

GeSI's participation will place particular emphasis on moving from technological potential to practical climate solutions.

Through international partnerships and initiatives such as the European Green Digital Coalition (EGDC) and the United Nations Solutions Hub (UNSH), GeSI will highlight the importance of science-based impact assessment, scalable digital solutions, investment readiness and coordinated implementation.

The programme will also provide opportunities to share real-world experiences, strengthen international cooperation and advance emerging initiatives in sustainable AI, climate resilience, environmental performance and responsible digital transformation.

Connecting the Global Digital Ecosystem

Throughout COP31, GeSI will work with its members and partners to facilitate dialogue, foster collaboration and connect organisations working towards shared sustainability objectives.

By bringing together expertise from across the digital ecosystem and beyond, GeSI aims to demonstrate how technology, supported by responsible governance and effective partnerships, can help deliver measurable climate benefits for people and the planet.
